經曰「於星宿劫」以下，第四值星宿劫佛。星宿者，千佛當來世，似列星故。莊嚴劫者，曾千佛彼劫中莊嚴故。然此三劫，略作四門：一建立意、二佛出時、三劫次第、四解本文。

From the sūtra's words "In the Constellation Kalpa" onward is the fourth: meeting the Buddhas of the Constellation Kalpa. "Constellation" means that the one thousand Buddhas of the future world will resemble an array of stars. "Vyūhakalpa" means that one thousand Buddhas previously adorned that kalpa. Now, regarding these three kalpas, four sections are briefly made: 1. the intention behind their establishment; 2. the time of the Buddhas' appearances; 3. the sequence of the kalpas; 4. explaining the main text.
