1.119

經曰「於未來世」以下，第三值賢劫佛。謂備善業及正見故，逢賢劫諸佛也。言賢劫者，娑婆世界五濁極盛難可忍，而千佛賢聖出世化導，故為賢劫也。

From the sūtra's words "In the future" onward is the third: meeting the Buddhas of the Bhadrakalpa. This means that having fully prepared good karma and right view, one encounters all the Buddhas of the Bhadrakalpa. As for the "Bhadrakalpa" (Auspicious Kalpa): in the Sahā world, the five corruptions are extremely rampant and difficult to endure, yet one thousand Buddhas, worthy and holy ones, appear in the world to transform and guide; hence it is the Bhadrakalpa.
