肇曰：若能備如上事，然後可說法也。生曰：成大乘為繼佛種，使三寶不斷則報佛恩矣。然後乃是說法也。

[Seng]zhao says: If one can be fully equipped with the matters above, only then may one expound the Dharma. [Dao]sheng says: Fulfilling the Mahāyāna continues the Buddha's lineage; keeping the Three Jewels from being severed repays the Buddha's kindness. Only then is it expounding the Dharma.
