維摩詰說是法時，八百居士發阿耨多羅三藐三菩提心。我無此辯，是故不任詣彼問疾。佛告大迦葉。
When Vimalakīrti expounded this Dharma, eight hundred householders generated the mind of anuttarā samyaksaṃbodhi. I lack such eloquence, and therefore am not competent to go there to inquire after his illness.' The Buddha told Mahākāśyapa:
