肇曰：若能等心受食則有等教，既有等教則施主同獲平等，不計福之大小、己之損益也。生曰：施平等人應得平等報，故施主亦不見有大小福也。

[Seng]zhao says: If one can receive food with an equal mind, there is an equal teaching. When there is an equal teaching, the donor equally obtains equality, without calculating the greatness or smallness of the merit, or one's own gain or loss. [Dao]sheng says: Giving to an equal person, one should obtain an equal retribution; therefore, the donor also does not see great or small merit.
