什曰：以阿那律天眼為色作相非真天眼，若不作相則是真眼。未知誰有，故問言孰耶。肇曰：諸梵謂天眼正以徹視遠見為理，而淨名致詰殊違本塗，疑有真異故致斯問。

[Kumāra]jīva says: Taking Aniruddha's divine eye as constructing marks for form, it is not the true divine eye; if one does not construct marks, that is the true eye. Not knowing who has it, they therefore asked who.

[Seng]zhao says: The Brahmās thought the divine eye took penetrating sight and far vision as its principle, yet the Pure Name's interrogation was entirely contrary to their original path; suspecting there was a true difference, they therefore posed this question.
