3.21
[Seng]zhao says: The true mark of the five heinous sins is itself liberation; how could there be a distinction between bondage and liberation? The five heinous sins are the worst of offenses, and liberation is the supreme path. If one can attain liberation precisely through the marks of the five heinous sins, only then may one take the food of others. [Dao]sheng says: Having spoken of attaining liberation from bondage, and since the five heinous sins are the utmost bondage, he therefore takes them as his words. Thus liberation is non-liberation, and bondage is non-bondage.
