4.140

肇曰：十二緣起因緣相生無窮盡也。悟其所由則智心自明，智心既明則道心自成。然則道之成也乃以緣起為地，故即以為道場也。

[Seng]zhao says: The twelve links of dependent origination arise mutually through causes and conditions without exhaustible end. When one awakens to their source, the mind of wisdom naturally becomes bright; once the mind of wisdom is bright, the mind of the Path is naturally accomplished. Therefore, the accomplishment of the Path takes dependent origination as its ground, and it is thus taken to be the bodhimanda.
