5.148

什曰：令其因疾發弘誓。如是諸病無能救者，當作法醫療眾病也。肇曰：當為大法醫王，療治群生之疾。自疾何足憂乎？生曰：唯當勤求療方以兼一切，勿起憂惱，徒苦而無益也。

[Kumāra]jīva says: Cause them to make a great vow on account of illness: 'With such illnesses that none can rescue, I should become a physician of the Dharma to heal all illnesses.' [Seng]zhao says: One should become a king of physicians of the great Dharma to heal the illnesses of sentient beings. How is one's own illness worth worrying about? [Dao]sheng says: One should only diligently seek healing methods to benefit all, and not give rise to worry and distress, which are merely painful and of no benefit.
