6.192
[Seng]zhao says: Because of non-abiding, thoughts are perverted; because thoughts are perverted, there is conceptual differentiation; because of conceptual differentiation, there is greed and desire; because of greed and desire, there is a body. Once there is a body, good and evil are both displayed; once good and evil are displayed, the myriad dharmas arise. From this point forward, words and numbers cannot exhaust them. If one skillfully attains their fundamental basis, all the branch-ends can be eliminated. [Dao]sheng says: All dharmas are without exception like this. But because the principle is revealed through perversion, it is clarified through perversion. If one contemplates in this manner, can there still be afflictions?
