肇曰：香華著身非沙門法，是以去之。一義華法散身應墮，不墮非華法也。生曰：不如律法。

[Seng]zhao says: Fragrant flowers clinging to the body is not the dharma of a śramaṇa; therefore he removed them. Another interpretation: the nature of flowers scattered on the body is that they should fall; not falling is not the nature of flowers. [Dao]sheng says: Not in accordance with the Vinaya Dharma.
