什曰：梵本云「幾久」也。肇曰：止淨名大乘之室久近，妙辯若此乎。生曰：既已屈之，便嫌其止室為天，而不欲便相指斥，故寄久為問焉。

[Kumāra]jīva says: The Sanskrit text says "how long." [Seng]zhao says: Dwelling in the Spotless Name's Mahāyāna room for how long could yield such marvelous eloquence as this? [Dao]sheng says: Having already been refuted by her, he disliked her dwelling in the room as a goddess, but not wishing to reprimand her directly, he used the duration as a question.
