所以者何？住不可思議解脫菩薩有威德力，故行逼迫，示諸眾生如是難事。凡夫下劣無有力勢，不能如是逼迫菩薩。
'Why is this? Bodhisattvas abiding in inconceivable liberation possess majestic virtue and power, and therefore carry out coercion to display such difficult tasks to sentient beings. Ordinary people are base and inferior, lacking power and influence, and cannot coerce bodhisattvas in this way.'
