注維摩詰經 7.118

7.118

什曰：或有雖為知識，不必能為剋終之伴。或雖為伴，而不為知識。又言伴侶明善始令終，必至道場也。肇曰：六度，大乘之要行。發心為侶，俱至道場，吾真侶也。生曰：我本欲到諸法彼岸，而假諸度得至，伴之良者也。

[Kumāra]jīva says: Some, although spiritual friends, are not necessarily companions until the end. Or, though companions, they are not spiritual friends. It also says: 'companions' illustrates having a good beginning and a fine end, certainly arriving at the bodhimaṇḍa. [Seng]zhao says: The six pāramitās are the essential practices of the Mahāyāna. Arousing the mind to be companions and reaching the bodhimaṇḍa together, they are my true companions. [Dao]sheng says: I originally wished to reach the other shore of all dharmas, and relying on the various pāramitās I was able to arrive; they are excellent companions.
