肇曰：迦葉自知己心微弱不能發大道意，至於勝求乃後五逆之人，傷己無堪，故善文殊之說。
[Seng]zhao says: Kāśyapa knew that his own mind was weak and unable to produce the thought of the Great Path, and that in striving for supreme attainments he lagged behind those of the five rebellious sins. Grieved that he himself lacked capacity, he therefore praised Mañjuśrī's teaching.
