什曰：梵本云「雜說也」，凡不為善及涅槃，而起心口業，悉名雜說也。肇曰：華飾美言苟悅人意，名無義語。
[Kumāra]jīva says: The Sanskrit text says 'miscellaneous talk' (saṃbhinna-pralāpa). Whenever one gives rise to actions of mind or mouth without aiming at the good or at nirvāṇa, it is all called 'miscellaneous talk.' [Seng]zhao says: Flowery ornaments and fine words meant merely to please others are called 'frivolous speech.'
