注維摩詰經 9.31

9.31

譬如有藥名曰上味，其有服者，身諸毒滅然後乃消。此飯如是，滅除一切諸煩惱毒然後乃消。阿難白佛言：未曾有也。世尊！如此香飯能作佛事。

"It is just as with a medicine named 'Supreme Flavour': when someone ingests it, only after all the poisons in their body are eliminated is it digested. This rice is just like this: only after it has extinguished and removed the poison of all afflictions is it digested." Ānanda said to the Buddha: "Unprecedented! World-Honoured One! Such fragrant rice can perform the work of a buddha!"
