第三從爾時阿難白佛今所聞香自昔未有以下訖此飯如是滅除一切諸煩惱毒然後乃消也。廣明香飯利益差別。

Third, from “At that time Ānanda said to the Buddha: ‘The fragrance now smelled has never existed before…’” onwards down to “only after this food has extinguished and removed all the poisons of the kleśas in this way is it digested,” it broadly explains the distinctions in the benefits of the fragrant food.
