[Seng]zhao says: A supremely marvelous body must be born from supremely marvelous causes. Merit and wisdom are the two activities of the mahāsattva. These two activities are indeed the preliminary gateway to the myriad practices and the crucial pass to nirvāṇa; therefore, it is proclaimed that it possesses them. From here onward, although various practices are listed separately, they are all practices of the unconditioned and markless. Because the practices are markless and unconditioned, the dharmakāya accomplished thereby is also markless and unconditioned.
