Bodhisattva Manomati said: “The eye and form constitute duality. If one knows the nature of the eye, being neither greedy, hateful, nor deluded regarding form, this is called quiescent extinction. In this way, the ear and sound, the nose and odor, the tongue and taste, the body and touch, and the mind and dharmas constitute duality. If one knows the nature of the mind, being neither greedy, hateful, nor deluded regarding dharmas, this is called quiescent extinction. Abiding peacefully within it is entering the Dharma-door of non-duality.”
