"if they see any purely adorned buddha-land, they do not feel joy on that account, nor do they become covetous or haughty; if they see any impure buddha-land, they do not feel sorrow on that account, nor are they hindered or depressed. They merely generate a pure mind toward the buddhas, rejoicing with unprecedented reverence. The merits of the buddhas, the tathāgatas, are equal; it is solely for the sake of teaching and transforming sentient beings that they manifest different buddha-lands."
