3.83

就初段中，維摩先問，菩薩後說。就前問中，「爾時維摩」，舉能問人。「謂眾菩薩言：諸仁者」，告命所問。言告稱謂。「云何菩薩入不二」等，正宣問辭。

In the first section, Vimalakīrti asks first, and the bodhisattvas speak afterward. In the preceding question, "At that time, Vimalakīrti" identifies the person who is able to ask. "Said to the assembly of bodhisattvas: 'Virtuous ones'" addresses those who are asked. To speak and address is called "said." "How do bodhisattvas enter non-duality..." and so forth formally proclaims the words of the question.
