From "making such [a contemplation]" below, it concludes and clarifies that which contemplates. "Making such a contemplation" concludes the contemplation that has been performed. From "by contemplating..." below, it discerns whether the contemplation is errant or correct, causing others to attain right awakening. The above concerns Vimalakīrti's seeing Śākyamuni Buddha.
