三、觀行即者，行人精通三觀，善識二諦、三諦、四諦，開合不亂，信解分明；能知此心即是解脫，願行善巧，入五品弟子伏忍之位，此是「觀行即」也。

Third, as for identity in contemplative practice: the practitioner thoroughly penetrates the three contemplations, skillfully discerns the two truths, three truths, and four truths, unfolding and combining without confusion, with distinct faith and understanding; they are able to know that this mind is liberation, their vows and practices are skillful, and they enter the position of subduing forbearance of the disciples of the five ranks. This is 'identity in contemplative practice.'
