一、正約三觀開三乘者，即為三意：一，約折法觀開三藏教三乘；二，約體法觀開通教三乘；三，總約折、體別相三觀成別教大乘。

First, directly unfolding the three vehicles in terms of the three contemplations has three points: first, unfolding the three vehicles of the Tripiṭaka teaching in terms of the contemplation of analyzing phenomena; second, unfolding the three vehicles of the shared teaching in terms of the contemplation of embodying phenomena; third, comprehensively accomplishing the Mahāyāna of the distinctive teaching in terms of the distinct-aspect three contemplations of analysis and embodiment.
