次明識次位者，三乘入道，從乾慧地乃至佛地，若能分別不謬，即不生叨濫，破增上慢心也。

Next, explaining the recognition of the stages in sequence: when practitioners of the three vehicles enter the path, from the ground of dry wisdom up to the ground of the Buddha, if they can distinguish them without error, they will not give rise to overstepping boundaries or usurping, and they will break the mind of excessive pride.
