次明安忍強軟兩賊者，未入外凡之位，內外八風壞三乘行人出世善根；若能安忍，則不為所壞，入乾慧地，因發暖、頂，入性地也。

Next, explaining patiently enduring the two thieves of the strong and the pliable: before entering the stage of external worldlings, the internal and external eight winds destroy the supramundane wholesome roots of practitioners of the three vehicles; if they can patiently endure them, they will not be destroyed by them, will enter the ground of dry wisdom, and by generating heat and summit, enter the ground of nature.
