二、教乘者，即是佛開三乘之教，三乘諸子以佛教門，出三界苦，亦名「名字乘」也。

Second, the vehicle of teaching: this is the Buddha's opening of the teaching of the three vehicles, through which the children of the three vehicles use the Buddha's teaching-door to emerge from the suffering of the three realms; it is also called the 'vehicle of verbal designation.'
