答曰：正道無諍。何得諍同水火？今明用三三昧，修一實諦，開無明，顯法性；忘真緣，離諍論；言語法滅，無量罪除，清淨心一。水若澄清，佛性寶殊，自然現也。見佛性故，即得住大涅槃。

Answer: The correct path is free from dispute. How could their disputation be like fire and water? Now it is clarified that using the three samādhis, one cultivates the one real truth, opens up ignorance, and reveals the Dharma-nature; one forgets the real and the conditioned, and departs from disputation; the dharma of words is extinguished, immeasurable sins are eliminated, and the pure mind is unified. If the water is clarified, the jewel of buddha-nature naturally appears. Because one sees the buddha-nature, one immediately abides in great nirvāṇa.
