菩薩一切能施，乃至不惜身命，如尸毘王以身施鴿，心不悔恨，是為檀滿。
When a bodhisattva can give everything, even not begrudging life and limb—just as King Śibi gave his body to save a pigeon without regret in his heart—this is the fulfillment of giving (dāna).
