羼提波羅蜜滿者，菩薩忍辱，不惜身命，如羼提比丘，為歌利王割截，心生慈忍，發誓身復，名羼提滿。

The fulfillment of the pāramitā of forbearance (kṣānti) is when a bodhisattva endures humiliation without begrudging life and limb—just as the monk Kṣānti was dismembered by King Kali, yet gave rise to compassionate forbearance in his heart, making a vow that his body be restored; this is called the fulfillment of kṣānti.
