七、明下生成道者，即是三藏教明八相成菩提道也。所言八相成道者，一，從兜率陀天下；二，託胎；三，出生；四，出家；五，降魔；六，成道；七，轉法輪；八，入涅槃也。

Seventh, clarifying descending to be born and realizing the Way: this is what the Tripiṭaka teaching clarifies as realizing the path of bodhi through the eight marks. As for the so-called realizing the Way through the eight marks: first, descending from Tuṣita Heaven; second, entering the womb; third, taking birth; fourth, leaving the household; fifth, subduing Māra; sixth, realizing the Way; seventh, turning the Dharma wheel; eighth, entering nirvāṇa.
