三、明八人地者，即是三乘信、法二種行人，巧觀發真，在無間三昧、十五心、八忍之位也。

Third, clarifying the ground of the eight persons: this is when the two kinds of practitioners of the three vehicles—those following by faith and those following by Dharma—skillfully contemplate and bring forth the real, being at the stage of the unhindered samādhi, the fifteen minds, and the eight forbearances.
