二、明名別位通者，即為二意：一，約前三乘共十地，菩薩別立忍名；二，用別教名，名別而義通。

Second, explaining 'the names are distinct while the stages are shared' entails two points: first, relative to the preceding ten grounds shared by the three vehicles, distinct names for forbearances are established for bodhisattvas; second, applying the designations of the distinctive teaching, where the names are distinct while the meaning is shared.
