答曰：觀理雖同，方便修行化他；求佛果有異，故於菩薩法別立伏忍等別名也。分別其相，具在四教大本。

Answer: Although the contemplation of the principle is identical, the skillful means of practicing to transform others and seeking the buddha-fruit are different; therefore distinct names such as subduing forbearance are separately established within the bodhisattva's dharma. The differentiation of their characteristics is fully set out in the Grand Text on the Four Teachings.
