二、明實慧解脫者，此經云「有方便慧解」，即是實慧解脫也。所以者何故？《勝鬘經》明「自性清淨心不為煩惱所染」，不染而染，難可了知。祇猶染故，即有五住煩惱，界內、外二種生死之所拘縛。若能方便，巧修實慧，不斷癡愛，起諸明脫，明與無明等，亦不縛不脫，即是實慧不思議解脫也。

Second, explaining the liberation of real wisdom: this sūtra says, 'There is liberation through wisdom with skillful means'—this is liberation of real wisdom. Why is this? The Śrīmālā Sūtra explains that 'the intrinsically pure mind is undefiled by afflictions; yet undefiled, it is defiled, which is difficult to comprehend.' Merely because it is defiled, there are the afflictions of the five entrenchments, bound by the two kinds of birth and death within and beyond the realms. If one can use skillful means to cultivate real wisdom deftly, without severing delusion and craving while giving rise to all clarities and liberations, clarity and ignorance being equal, neither bound nor liberated—this is the inconceivable liberation of real wisdom.
