5.14

一、有師言，修多羅此翻云法本者，法本有三：一為論本，二為行本，三為義本。佛用四悉檀說法，得為此三本，具如前釋。

First, some masters say sūtra translates here as "root of dharmas": root of dharmas has three aspects: first, the root of treatises; second, the root of practice; third, the root of meaning. The Buddha uses the four siddhāntas to preach the Dharma, capable of serving as these three roots, fully as explained before.
