Sixth, clarifying inconceivable liberation in terms of contemplating the mind: If one knows that 'the natures of lust, anger, and delusion are themselves liberation,' and skillfully employs contemplation of the mind—neither severing them nor following them, contemplating the mind as definitively pure—this is the meaning of inconceivable liberation. Therefore, this sūtra states: 'The liberation of all buddhas should be sought within the mental activities of all sentient beings.' If one can seek in this way, then there is a portion of the three kinds of liberation, assimilating all threefold dharmas within a single thought of contemplating the mind.
