Answer: This matter is easy to clarify. What is presently seen in the world is merely that a single dot of ink-color makes a character, which expresses all dharmas without failing to be comprehensive; how could smells, tastes, tangibles, and so forth not be so? Therefore this sūtra says: 'If one is equal toward food, all dharmas are also equal. If all dharmas are equal, one is also equal toward food,' and thus one can bestow everything with a single food. The Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā-prajñāpāramitā Sūtra says: 'Because all dharmas are equal, the prajñāpāramitā is equal,' and also says: 'All dharmas converge into form, and up to mental dharmas, this convergence does not go beyond.' Form is already unobtainable; how could there be converging or non-converging? Traversing all dharmas in this manner, the rest can be known by analogy.
