"Keeping the precepts... [living beings are born in] his land" also has five kinds: First, keeping precepts in terms of concrete phenomena, which is of ordinary people. The four kinds of keeping precepts are those explained by the four teachings. The four kinds of right speech, right action, and right livelihood are all called keeping the precepts; explaining them in detail would be excessively complex. As for the statement "living beings whose wishes are fulfilled are born in his land": within the limits of each teaching it explains the fulfillment of wishes; because śīla is pure, all good qualities can arise, and all that they seek bears fruit, hence it is said that their wishes are fulfilled. The rest is analogous to the straight mind.
