問：此即是現相表發，何得是表近由？答：有師謬謂是合蓋現土。今尋文不爾。此歎說普集現相，非合蓋現瑞。合蓋現瑞如下偈云「今奉世尊此微蓋，於中現我三千界。」方是正歎表發也。

Question: This is manifesting signs to signify a revelation—how can it signify the proximate origin? Answer: A certain master mistakenly claimed that this refers to joining the canopies and manifesting lands. Now, examining the text, it is not so. This praises the manifestation of signs when expounding the Universal Collection, not the auspicious sign of joining the canopies. The auspicious sign of joining the canopies is as the verse below says: "Now I offer to the World-Honoured One this tiny canopy, / within which appears my trichiliocosm." That is the proper praise of the revelation.
