2.53

問：上多約三諦，今何得用二諦歎也？答：合真入中、合真入俗，通別二諦，玄文料簡。又解：若隨情辨真即是權智分別法相，若隨智之真即是實智寂而常照，是故歎言於第一義而不動也。

Question: Above, the explanation was mostly in terms of the three truths; why is praise now given using the two truths? Answer: Combining the true into the middle, or combining the true into the conventional—the shared and separate two truths are analyzed in the Profound Meaning. Another explanation: if distinguishing the true according with feelings, that is provisional wisdom distinguishing the characteristics of dharmas; if it is the true according with wisdom, that is real wisdom tranquil yet constantly illuminating; therefore the praise says, "in the primary truth, remaining unmoved."
