3.67

此半品為四：一方便現疾、二諸人參問、三因為說法、四時眾得益。初文者，以無疾現疾，此表法身無二緣集因果患累，為欲引物方便，現有凡夫二乘二種緣集及菩薩自體因果之患。

This half-chapter has four parts: first, expediently manifesting illness; second, various people visiting to inquire; third, expounding the Dharma because of it; fourth, the assembly at that time obtaining benefit. In the first passage, manifesting illness when free of illness signifies that the dharmakāya is free from the two accumulations of conditions and the afflictions of cause and effect; wishing to guide beings expediently, he manifests the two accumulations of conditions of ordinary people and the two vehicles, as well as the afflictions of cause and effect of the bodhisattvas' intrinsic nature.
