4.55

問：若言法無有比是絕待者，只以待比說無比，豈得絕耶？答：若以有待之心分別不待，亦計為待。若法性無心，則一切有待皆是無待。

Question: If one says that dharma having no comparison is absolute transcendence, is it not merely by contrasting with comparison that one speaks of having no comparison—how can it be absolute? Answer: If with a dualistic mind of conditioning one discriminates the unconditioned, one also conceives it as conditioned. If the dharma-nature is free of mind, then all that is conditioned is itself unconditioned.
