問：何得句句三釋悉具三脫？答：《大經》百句解脫，《華嚴》微塵解脫，《法華》一切解脫，今數十句，何足為多？若不句句辨即句句縱橫，豈得同首羅三目、世之伊字異三藏耶？

Question: How can every single line have three explanations and all be complete with the three liberations? Answer: The Mahāparinirvāṇa Sūtra has the hundred-phrase liberation, the Avataṃsaka has the atom-dust liberation, and the Lotus Sūtra has liberation of everything; here there are only several tens of lines, so how could this be too many? If they were not differentiated line by line, then line by line they would be horizontally and vertically scattered; how could they be identical to the three eyes of Śiva or the letter 'i' in worldly scripts, distinct from the Tripiṭaka?
