問：上來明法華為利根，今《法界性論》何得云大品是上根耶？答：上約三乘人判，《法界性論》約一佛乘人。

Question: Earlier it was explained that the Lotus Sūtra is for those of sharp faculties; how can the *Dharmadhātu-svabhāva-śāstra* now say that the *Dàpǐn* is for those of superior faculties? Answer: The earlier [statement] judged in terms of persons of the three vehicles, whereas the *Dharmadhātu-svabhāva-śāstra* is in terms of persons of the one buddha vehicle.
