問：上明諸菩薩沒實用權，今何得言彌勒共行弟子稟實教耶？答：上是一往之言。補處隨機，豈但一槩而守株耶？然事有傍正，亦是從多。

Question: Above it was explained that the bodhisattvas conceal the real and employ the provisional; how can it now be said that Maitreya's fellow-practicing disciples received the real teaching? Answer: The above was a preliminary statement. How could the one in the position of succession, responding to capacities, merely take one general rule and wait by the stump? However, matters have secondary and primary aspects, and this is also in terms of the majority.
