問：實報何得猶有四分因疾？答：開自體緣集以為四分。何者？取一實是貪、捨二邊即嗔、餘無明是癡、三分等取即是等分，是根本三毒，故《請觀音》云「淨於三毒根，成佛道無疑。」

Question: How can True Retribution still have the causal illness of the four shares? Answer: Unfolding the accumulation of conditions of the intrinsic essence constitutes the four shares. Why? Grasping the single reality is greed; abandoning the two extremes is anger; the remaining fundamental ignorance is ignorance; grasping the three shares equally is the equal share. These are the fundamental three poisons; hence the Invocations of Avalokiteśvara states, 'Purifying the roots of the three poisons, one accomplishes the buddha-way without doubt.'
