「諸新發意」下，三、明新發意及弟子等皆不能昇。文為五：一新發意等皆不能昇、二語身子就座、三身子辭不能昇、四令禮燈王、五新發意等作禮方昇。初文可知。

From "All the newly resolved" below, third, clarifies that the newly resolved and the disciples were all unable to ascend. The text has five parts: first, the newly resolved and others are all unable to ascend; second, telling Śāriputra to take a seat; third, Śāriputra declining that he is unable to ascend; fourth, having them pay homage to the King of Lamps; fifth, the newly resolved and others ascending only after paying homage. The first text is clear.
