"Arises from immeasurable merits and wisdom" is the direct exhortation to admire the fruit and practice the cause. In the Tripiṭaka and Shared teachings, the causes of merit and wisdom bring about the fruits of merit and wisdom. In the fruit, merit and wisdom are themselves the dharmakāya; therefore it says that it 'arises from immeasurable merits and wisdom.' In the Distinct and Complete teachings, merit and wisdom reveal the Buddha-nature, taking what is revealed as 'arising'; however, merit and wisdom are both the practice of wisdom and the practice of conduct. When a bodhisattva gives rise to the mind [for awakening], it is to seek the dharmakāya; based on these two dharmas they cultivate the two practices, and when the two practices are complete, the dharmakāya manifests.
